Is Match Command really free?

Yes. The app is free for managers and players. We charge a 1.5% platform fee only on registration payments collected through the app — see the pricing page for details.

Do I need to set up Stripe?

Only if you want to collect registration fees through the app. Leagues that don't collect payments work just fine without Stripe.

How do refunds work?

Managers can issue full or partial refunds from the Payments screen. Refunds typically settle to the player's original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Can players pay with a credit card?

Yes — Stripe Checkout supports all major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where available.

What sports does Match Command support?

Soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, football, hockey, and baseball — plus a custom option if your sport isn't listed.

Can I run a tournament?

Yes. After your regular season ends, you can generate a single-elimination bracket from the manager dashboard.

How do I invite my players?

Team captains share a join link or a 6-character code. Players tap the link or enter the code to join the team.

Is my data secure?

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. See our privacy policy for details.

Does it work on Android?

We're prioritizing iOS for v1. Android is on the roadmap and we expect to ship it shortly after our iOS launch.

Can guardians manage a child's account?

Yes. Guardians use a one-time link code from the player's profile to gain view + payment access for that child's teams.

What happens if I delete the app?

Your account stays active — if you reinstall, your teams and schedules will still be there. To permanently delete your account, email support@matchcommand.com.
