Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Match Command mobile application or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Match Command ("we," "our," or "us"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Match Command. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Your Account

To use most features of Match Command, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

Match Command is provided for lawful recreational sports league management. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory information about other users, teams, or leagues
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

5. League Managers and Organizations

If you use Match Command to manage a league or organization ("Manager"), you additionally agree to:

• Accurately represent your league, rules, fees, and schedule to players and coaches
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding data collection and payment processing in your jurisdiction
• Obtain appropriate consent before collecting personal information from minors in your league
• Not use payment collection features for any purpose other than legitimate league fees

Managers are solely responsible for the administration of their leagues, compliance with local sports regulations, field reservations, player safety, and any disputes between participants.

6. Payments

Match Command facilitates registration fee payments between players and league managers through Stripe Connect. By initiating or receiving payments through the Service:

• You agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• League managers who collect payments must complete Stripe's identity verification and agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement
• Refunds are at the discretion of the league manager, subject to their stated refund policy
• Match Command may charge a platform fee on transactions; applicable fees will be disclosed before you complete Stripe onboarding

Match Command is not responsible for disputes between players and league managers regarding fees or refunds. Contact us at support@matchcommand.com if you believe a payment was made in error.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as team logos, profile photos, or announcements). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any content in the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MATCH COMMAND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MATCH COMMAND IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Match Command and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Sections 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 of these Terms survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
